SMELT glaze ‘Fresh Minty Kisses’’
SMELT’s glazes were developed by ceramist and ceramics teacher Nora Nuyts.
These glazes have proven their service for many years in her courses. They are really very stable and will rarely disappoint.
They behave at their best at a Cone 6 (1222-1240°C), but do not exhibit extreme expiration behavior at slightly higher temperatures (up to cone 8)
The only determinant of success is the thickness of the glaze. That’s why we developed a free mini-course for beginning ceramists so they too will never be disappointed when opening the oven again.
