The glazes from SMELT were developed by ceramicist and ceramics instructor Nora Nuyts.<\/p>\n

These glazes have proven their worth for years in her courses. They are exceptionally stable and rarely disappoint.<\/p>\n

They perform best at Cone 6 (1222-1240\u00b0C) but do not show extreme run-off behavior at slightly higher temperatures (up to Cone 8).<\/p>\n

The only key factor for success is the thickness of the glaze layer. That\u2019s why we developed a free mini-course for beginner ceramicists, ensuring they\u2019ll never be disappointed when opening the kiln.<\/p>\n

With a 600-gram bag, you can make 1.2 kilos of brushable glaze.<\/p>\n
